Look Ma'! My work is on TV!

A few months ago students from Pitzer College came to my shop so i could teach them how to make a bicycle for the Green Bike Program. A bicycle that was made localy with sustainable materials that would make a safe, strong and durable bicycle at low cost. We gathered all the materials needed and together we made a bamboo bicycle. This bicycle would be the first sample of their upcoming bike share program, the first of many! You can read more about it here.

Fast forward to a week ago, i received a phone call from [Shirley Bovshow][3] from the award winning television show Home & Family on the Hallmark Channel USA. She asked me if she could borrow one of my bamboo bikes for an upcoming segment about bamboo and some of the great things it's used for. At the time i didnt have a bamboo bicycle built up so I asked my friends at the GBP to lend me theirs. You can see the segment below.
